Grink Green Banana Landing Page Development
Grink is a youth-oriented carbonated beverage brand with a bold and edgy style. We've been working with them for several years now, creating promotional projects for new flavors almost annually. This time, the task was to introduce the Green Banana flavor and capture the attention of the brand's core audience.

About the Client

Create a promotional landing page that:

  • Makes a bold statement for the new Green Banana flavor
  • Keeps users engaged through interactive elements
  • Speaks Gen Z’s language
  • Fits seamlessly into the brand’s digital campaign

The Challenge

We developed five concepts:

The Solution

1. Vintage Soda Vending Machine
A mechanic where users drop a coin and watch bottles spin inside the machine before the new flavor "pops out."
2. Interactive Story / Comic About Green Banana
A narrative told through 90s-style label aesthetics and comic panels, featuring horizontal scrolling or interactive pop-ups.
3. Bold Retro Vibes
Graphics and illustrations in acid colors with anime-style elements; animated bottle with fizzing soda pouring out.
4. Quest-Style Website
Pixel art and gamification: finding objects or completing challenges to discover the flavor.
5. 90s Nostalgia
Collage-style design incorporating old computer interfaces, toys, and gadgets from the 90s.
After discussion, we selected two concepts to develop as video prototypes. The client chose the vintage vending machine concept—nostalgia delivered with an ironic twist.

How it works:
  • Users drag a coin into the vending machine
  • The machine "activates," and the page reveals the new flavor bottle
  • This leads to a description of Green Banana and a showcase of all Grink beverages
  • The mechanic is enhanced with animation and retro graphics to evoke associations with vintage vending machines while maintaining a light and humorous tone

Results

The landing page became part of Grink's marketing campaign and served as a digital teaser for the new flavor. It provided the brand with a vibrant online presence and created a memorable entry point for their audience.
